Aphrodite brings years of experience to A& Architects including 20 years as project architect and project manager. Graduated with a Master’s degree in Architecture and Urban Design in 2003, she obtained the OAA designation in 2009. While she describes her design style as contemporary, her work is also focused on respecting heritage design and the environment. Her experience is mainly in residential and office buildings including all stages of a project from obtaining approvals to building occupancy.
ALI KAFAEI

Registered Architect of State of Arizona, USA
Ali graduated from Melli University in Tehran in 1993 with a Master’s degree in Architecture, and also from University of Toronto in 2003 with a Master’s degree in Urban Design. He obtained the OAA designation in 2010 along with the LEED accreditation. He brings years of work experience to A& Architects with various projects including residences, office, movie theaters, retail, hospitality, urban design and LEED certified buildings.

With over 20 years of architectural experience, Mehdi is a prominent leader and a Partner at A& Architects, specializing in multi-unit residential projects from conception through completion. Graduating with the highest distinction in 2003 with a Master’s degree in Architecture, he has developed a deep expertise in the residential sector across diverse regions. Known for balancing complex design goals with budget and schedule constraints, he skillfully manages multidisciplinary teams and collaborates closely with developers and regulatory bodies. His sustainable, forward-thinking approach integrates technical precision with creative vision, delivering high-quality, functional designs that enhance urban living and the quality of life for residents.

With a Master’s Degree in Construction Project Management and a Bachelor of Architecture, she is a highly skilled professional specializing in residential architecture and has been with A& Architects from the beginning. As a Partner, she brings strong expertise in project management, team leadership, and technical production, consistently meeting project milestones with a meticulous eye for detail. Her role involves strategic oversight, mentoring, and fostering innovation, ensuring both design excellence and client satisfaction. Dedicated to advancing architectural practices and collaboration, she has established herself as a key leader, consistently delivering high-quality, technically precise results across all her projects.

For the last 4 years, she has been collaborating with A& Architects as a Project Coordinator, where she manages all phases from schematic design through construction documentation. Known for her attention to detail and adherence to the Ontario Building Code, she ensures projects meet milestones and align with client goals.
